A warm welcome by your hosts Barbara and Paul.
On a day like any other, you decide that you want to change your life, you actually want to believe in your dreams, because dreams have no age or expiration date. That’s how an ordinary day for us turned into a unique day. It was the first of July 2016 when we began our adventure at Kaia Tani.
This was our smile that day!
This is our smile still today!

We are supporting the local community
Everybody knows that the African continent has many problems due to poverty, but it is only by living in close contact with the local people that one can work out how best to help them. We often visit the so-called Townships and, as guest house managers, we devised a tour to recommend to our guests. We have been studying this carefully with the aim of making people aware by allowing them to experience the typical, local lifestyle for half a day. Also, we take our guests to a school with about 1,500 children and 2 kindergartens that get our support and receive small donations on site directly by our generous guests. In 2018, we were able to turn our dream into a reality and replaced the ramshackle tin-plate structure of a kindergarten with a brick and mortar building thus giving dignity and safety to its children.
